Democracy

Modern democracy, not per chance the offspring of the bourgeois revolution, is a fraud in itself!  Here is a wonderful booklet that goes into exactly the distinction between "classic" and modern democracy, and the mystifications that go with our received notion of what democracy even is: Oswyn Murray, La città greca, Einaudi 1993 (unfortunately, and probably not per chance, there is no English translation).
